Reg Clark is a specialist investor and corporate financier with wide experience of securities and investment markets particularly in Japan.

He started his career with the multinational Kobe Steel, then joined Yamaichi International, Swiss Bank Corporation and JP Morgan, before rejoining Kobe Steel in London in 1988, becoming finance director of its European operations. He established Loxko Venture Managers as Kobe's European corporate venturing arm in 1991, and led a management buy out on its exit from the group in 1997, continuing as managing director until the sale of the business in 2005. Loxko was a founding investor in London & Oxford Capital Markets in 1993.

Reg Clark originally established London & Oxford Securities in 1988 as a forerunner of the group. He studied Modern History at Oxford University, where he was a rugby blue and President of Vincents. He is a Fellow of the Securities Institute and of the Institute of Management Consultants. He was treasurer of the Liberal Democrats in 2000-2005.
